Insurance Profiles

You can register insurance profiles on the patient’s record.

If your patient has insurance coverage with different companies, each insurance profile can be added to the patient’s file to clearly register the information and facilitate claims Telus Health.

To register an insurance profile

From the “Clients” section on the left menu, look for the patient in question.

  1. Open the patient’s record
  2. In the “Information” tab, click on the button + in the “Insurance Profiles” section.
  3. Fill out the available fields
    To note: The fields followed by * are required for claims to Telus Health work properly.
  4. Click on “Save Changes” 

The Insurance Profile will be registered on the section destined to this purpose and can be consulted at all times on the “Information” tab in the patient’s file.

To edit an insurance profile

From the “Clients” section on the left menu, look for the patient in question.

  1. Open the patient’s record
  2. In the “Information” tab, click on the pencil icon next to the insurance profile to be edited
  3. Edit the necessary elements
  4. Click on “Save Changes”

To deactivate an insurance profile

From the “Clients” section on the left menu, look for the patient in question.

  1. Open the patient’s file
  2. In the “Information” tab, click on the pencil icon next to the insurance profile to be edited
  3. Click on “Deactivate”

The Insurance Profile will be transferred to the “Inactive” section of the insurance profiles and it can be consulted at all times from the “Information” section in the patient’s file.

To consult the inactive insurance profiles

From the “Clients” section on the left menu, look for the patient in question.

  1. Open the patient’s record
  2. In the “Information” tab, click on the button “Inactive” in the “Insurance Profiles” section.
