Gifts cards
You can see the list of existing gift cards in Medexa. This list makes it easy to identify which cards are still active.
To do this, simply go to the Billing tab, and click on Gift cards.
Import an existing gift card
You can import a gift card by clicking on the Import Gift Card button.
When clicking the button it will open a new window, you will need to fill in the following mandatory information:
- External reference
- Amount
- Payment method
Edit gift cards
You can edit cards by clicking on the arrow and on Edit.
A new window will open.
Here you can modify the information you want on your gift card or delete your card.
Send gift cards
To send a card, just click on the Send button in the list.
A new window will open.
Choose the shipping recipient and fill in the required information.
Then click on Send.
The email put in recipients will receive your gift card.
Create a gift card payable from an online terminal and then send it to the recipient
Prerequisites: You must have an active virtual terminal. Please contact your representative for more details on this feature.
- Create a new patient record if they are new (skip this step if they are an existing patient).
- Go to the Billing section on the left menu.
- Click on the + icon located in the top corner.
- Select the patient who will purchase the gift card.
- Scroll down to the items section of the bill.
- Click on the + (to add an item to the bill).
- Choose Add a Gift Card.
- Enter the desired amount or service.
- If you’re unsure about the type of card your client will use, select Cash for now and update it later.
- Save the changes.
- Create an invoice for the transaction.
- Click on Action and select Send.
- Click to Request an Online Payment.
- Send the invoice. The client will receive it and be able to pay online. Once paid, they will automatically receive their receipt, and in Medexa, it will be marked as paid.
- After payment, you can go to ‘Action’ and send the gift card to the intended recipient by changing the recipient’s email address.
