Choice of one or many Practice Profiles

This section allows you to choose the right practice profile in an invoice.

For example, it sometimes happens that a user has one or more practice profiles since he offers different services. To do this, you can select the practice profile corresponding to the correct department of the employee in the invoice.

How to configure:

This configuration can be found in the following section: My clinic > User management > Users > Choose a user

Here you can define one or more practice profiles for a therapist, just click on the (+) to add one.

Just fill in the following and Save Changes:

Profession: The professions defined in "My clinic > User management > Professions".
Post-nominal title: Practice profile initials.
License number: Practice license number.

Practice profiles are used in several places in Medexa. In the following sections we will see how they are used.

The license to practice in an invoice

A practice profile can be assigned to an invoice. To do this just go to billing:

Go to the Billing menu on the left or to the patient file
Select an invoice or create a new one
On our new page you will be able to select a practice profile via the drop-down menu Practice Profile
1. This practice profile will be assigned on an invoice and will be visible if it is printed (see option in Create an invoice )

In this same page, one can assign practice profiles directly to the appointment which are located in the Items section:

Click on the drop-down bar in the Items section
Select the right practice profile
Click on Save Changes

The license to practice in a global receipt

Also, it is possible to select the practice profile for each of the employees associated with the items of an invoice or a global receipt.

To select a practice profile from a global receipt, just go:

Go to a patient file
Click on See appointment history

Here a new window will be visible

Click on the Invoice Summary button, which will open a new window.

As in the invoice, we will have the possibility of choosing the general practice profile for all the invoices over a given period, or directly for each of the appointments.
